This anatomical model of the skin shows its microscopic structure in great detail.  By showing sections of the hairless skin (the palm of the hand) and the hairy skin (forearm), the different cell layers as well as the embedded sweat glands, touch receptors, blood vessels, nerves and a hair with root can be easily seen.  A second model shows the nail plate, nail bed and the nail root.  A third model provides a detailed representation of a hair root with all its cell layers.  All share a common base.  10 x 12.5 x 14 cm
