Welcome to our Light & Optics Department. Here you will find
everything you need to explore every aspect of optical science.
There are products suitable for elementary education, high school and
college physics, as well as many useful to the professional.
Here we concentrate on principals. Elsewhere on our
web, you will find how they have been used to serve man's needs. See "The Universe" for
Astronomical Telescopes, "Science
/ Micro-World" for Microscopes and Technology for Magnifiers,
Terrestrial Telescopes, Binoculars, Kaleidoscopes and other optical devices.
Please note that Science Kits; Prisms, Lens, etc; and
Apparatus each consist of several pages. See the menu bar at the
left to navigate between them. |

Science Kits
Introductory Kits to Light and Optics, prisms and mirrors. Our
Classroom Optical Science Kits are more extensive. Generally
they cover a broader range of subjects. Fun Projects include
making your own kaleidoscope, optical illusions and using parabolic
mirrors to create holograms. A great place to start. |

Prisms, Lens, etc
Start with the Meter Stick Optical Bench, then add equilateral,
right-angle and odd shaped prisms; concave, convex, complex and
cylindrical lens; optical mirrors, diffraction grating. Many
hard-to-find optical accessories, such as
Spherometer, Mirror and Prism
holders. Plus you find lens sets, prisms sets and many other
things useful in conducting your science experiments.
Everything you need for Optical Science Projects and the Science
Fair. |
