| We define replicas as reproductions designed for
both educational and play value. They differ from toys in that they
are more accurately researched and more detailed. (Toys may be found
in the Activity & Toys area.)
Our replicas are sold by leading museums and zoo. They are a great way to
introduce children to the diversity of nature. We also offer
exquisite lines of animal reproductions designed primarily for display in
home and office. You will find them under
Decor. No Inquiry into the natural
world is complete with real specimens.
We don't have stuffed dinosaurs, but do have seashells, mounted fish,
hides, furs, rugs, eggs, mounted snakes, stuffed bats and many other
fascinating specimens. For those interested in live animals, see
Natural History. |

Insects
We use the title somewhat generically as this section includes other
arthropods (animals with external skeletons) such as scorpions and
spiders. Great selection of butterflies. |
Prehistoric
Dinosaurs dominate the landscape, but also includes other prehistoric
animals, such as the so-called "sea monsters." Even later geological
periods are represented by Neanderthal man, the mammoth and other mammals
of the period. |
