Carnegie Museum Replica Collection

The world's premier line of dinosaur collectibles. Not merely toys, but an educational series of replicas that reveal details of the prehistoric world. All of the figures were researched and authenticated by the experts at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Specimens were carefully selected to provide representations of primary species.  Special care has been taken to include ones with unique characteristics - especially recent discoveries that that have expanded our knowledge of these wonderful animals.  They are great learning tools.  All replicas are the same 1:40 scale
(a foot long replica represents a forty foot dinosaur). This consistency of scale permits comparing the size of the various species.  the selection encourages comparing other characteristics.  The set is a great learning tool.  All of the replicas are quality molded of 70% recycled polyvinyl, then carefully hand painted.

Dinosaurs are divided into two major groups - the Saurischia "lizard hipped" and the Ornithischia "bird-hipped."  The Saurischia are, in turn, divided into two major groups - the Sauropods and the Theropods.  We've divided the collection in four parts
