Tyrannosaurs
T-Rex was one of the largest and powerful of all predatory dinosaurs.
Many believe that he was the largest flesh-eating land animal that has
ever lived. He was a long as a tennis court and as heavy an
elephant. He was tall enough to peer into an upstairs room.
Saw edged teeth armed the mighty jaws of its immense head. Compared
to its powerful hind legs, its forelegs were rather puny - about the size
of a human's arms. No one has any proof as to the color of dinosaurs.
Some believe that they were colorful like birds; other believe they were a
muted gray like elephants. For 2002, the traditional green replica
has been joined by brown brother. Both replicas are 10" long.

Carnotaurus
The 1985 Argentina discovery of a big bizarre dinosaur rocked the
paleontology community. It was most certainly a Theropod, but it had
a much shorter, more bull-like head than known. Most extraordinary
were the pointed, wing-like horns about its eyes. Other remarkable
features included small, forward facing eyes, spinal bones with wing-like
projections, and prominent rows of scales along the back and sides. These
features led to the name, which means "carnivorous bull." It lived
about 97 million years ago and was about 25 feet long. The replica
is 6" long.
No. LRP13-CR.

Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus was as long as the Tyrannosaurus, but less heavily built.
Its most unusual feature was a tail skin "sail" that was held aloft by
bony swords rising up to five feet from the backbone, like thorns.
This led to its name which means "Thorn Lizard." It lived 100 to 95
million years ago. Fossils have been found North Africa. The
replica is 9" long.
No. LRP13-SP.
